Ramp generator

VRG: progressive control of proportional actuators at your fingertips

Our VRG ramp generator progressively controls a proportional actuator, both in acceleration and deceleration, through a digital (on/off) or push-button command. The VRG is available with three output options:

•    PWM A+B (for directly commanding solenoid valves)

•    Analogue signal (e.g., 0-5V, 0.5-2.5V, or 0-10V with directional on/off)

•    Ratiometric signal (for Danfoss modules)

Commands can be received by the VRG from digital inputs or onboard push-buttons (panel version).

When "side A" is activated (via IN1 input or P1 button), starting from rest, the output gradually increases to the maximum set value, following a linear acceleration ramp for a predefined duration.

The output remains at the maximum value as long as the command is active. Upon release, the output decreases toward the minimum value with the set deceleration ramp.

The device configuration can be easily customized by connection to a PC thanks to our intuitive serial interface adapter, with the possibility to change parameters and enable different working modes.
