Dual-axis, CAN bus angle sensor

FIP-C: for accurate measurement of inclination on two axes

The FIP-C is a dual-axis, CAN bus angle sensor that uses a CAN interface to provide information about inclination, measuring the slope relative to the horizontal plane within a range of ±45 degrees.

The sensor operates based on a high-accuracy accelerometer IC, and if the inclination exceeds this range, the value is trimmed to ±45 degrees.

Each sensor is factory calibrated at 25°C to ensure high accuracy and is equipped with hardware and software filters to minimize vibration interference.

The CAN bus complies with the CAN 2.0b specification and supports CANopen protocol.

The inclination value is transmitted cyclically to the bus, and various configuration parameters, stored permanently in the device memory, allow customization for different applications. These parameters include baud rate (up to 500kb/s), node ID, transmission interval, and others.

The device also features a built-in bubble level and a metallic support, making it easier to set the zero point without additional components.
