Our CLG moment limiter is a device primarily used in knuckle boom crane applications. Two main versions are currently available:
• CLG-SL (Standard Version), which operates by reading the pressure measured by a 4-20 mA transducer located at the piston bottom side of the first boom cylinder. The CLG-SL load limiter controls the crane's load by using a pressure transducer and limits operations that may lead to overloading or overturning by controlling the bypass valve.
• CLG-D (Differential Version), that measures differential pressure using two 4-20 mA transducers, positioned on both the piston bottom side and piston rod side of the first boom cylinder. The CLG-D unit measures the pressure difference between the two chambers of the cylinder to ensure accurate pressure readings.
Both versions can be easily calibrated thanks to an intuitive programming keyboard and come with a complete interface wiring for straightforward installation.
