The Proximity detection system measures the distance between the transmitter and the receiver. The allowed working area for the operator is specified by the system installer.
The Proximity detection system has a range of approximately 0-60 meters, depending on the current radio signal conditions, with up to 20 centimeters of accuracy.
To protect the operator, it is possible for the system installer to configure the behavior of the machine depending on the distance. For example, if the operator gets too close or too far away from the machine, the entire machine, or parts of the machine, can shut down. The maximum range can be disabled for machines that require the operator to be further away than 60 meters.
