Scanreco and CrossControl: One HMI partner, from remote to onboard computing

Scanreco and CrossControl exhibit together at EIMA International 2026, bringing remote control, onboard displays and advanced computing together in one offering for agricultural machinery manufacturers – with a unified approach to human–machine interface (HMI) experience from remote control to onboard operation.

Scanreco acquired CrossControl earlier this year, bringing together two complementary areas of machine technology: Scanreco’s operator-centric remote control solutions and CrossControl’s onboard HMI, display computers and vehicle computing. The combined portfolio also includes machine control solutions supported by an open, modular and scalable software platform.

The combination responds to a clear shift in agricultural machinery. Machines are becoming increasingly connected, automated and intelligent, while operators need intuitive ways to control, monitor and interact with them. By bringing together control, visibility, information and integration, Scanreco and CrossControl can help OEMs create a more coherent operator experience across both remote and onboard operation.

At EIMA, visitors can explore Scanreco’s rugged remote controls, including solutions with haptic feedback and advanced displays, alongside CrossControl’s onboard displays and computing technology for HMI, ISOBUS, vision, process control and other machine functions.

“Modern agricultural machines demand more than individual control components. Bringing remote control, onboard HMI and computing together gives OEMs a stronger foundation for machines that are easier to operate, integrate and develop as software, connectivity and automation continue to advance,” says Peter Lageson, CEO of Scanreco.
